Description of the contract

The GMC is currently reviewing and updating its strategy for the use of mobile devices (i.e. smartphones and tablets) in the workplace.

The updated strategy will include the use of multiple device types (e.g. Apple, Samsung, HTC, Blackberry, etc.) and operating systems (e.g. Apple iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows, etc.) so the GMC will need a mature and robust toolset to manage this diverse mobile hardware estate. The toolset must provide excellent management and support capabilities along with a proven ability to secure any corporate data stored on any of the devices.

The GMC is seeking proposals from firms with established, tried and tested Mobile Device Management (or similar) products that will enable the GMC to manage, control and secure its future mobile hardware estate.
