The purpose of this document is to provide a specification for an alternative contractor module for DMBC which will be used for responsive, capital and void works carried out by Direct Labour Operatives, Contractors and Sub-Contractors alike and Pre and Post property inspections carried out by DMBC Officers. Whilst also identifying specifics for a replacement mobile provider.
DMBC currently use a bespoke contractor module designed and implemented by DMBC in the mid 1990s (Matrix). In addition to this DMBC currently use a mobile solution provided by Cognito which has been in place since 2007. Both of these solutions are now deemed to be out of date and would fail to demonstrate value for money in the coming years.
