Essex County Council wishes to procure a locally based comprehensive Independent Mobility Assessment Service. The Council wants to secure a provider with relevant experience who will work with the Council to deliver high quality services that are responsive to demand.
The service will create a robust independent assessment and appeals process, delivered via mobility assessment clinics by professionals appropriately trained in the assessment of mobility and registered with the Health Professions Council. The service will cater for customers who apply for a Blue Badge but do not automatically qualify.
