II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

Arc21 requires a contractor or contractors to provide services for the disposal of residual municipal waste in landfill, via a Delivery Site located within the arc21 area. Details of the services are provided in the tender documentation. The services to be procured are divded in to the following lots:
Lot 1: for the disposal in landfill of up to 120 000 tonnes.
Lot 2: for the disposal in landfill of up to 45 000 tonnes.
Lot 3: for the disposal in landfill of up to 31 500 tonnes.
Lot 4: for the disposal in landfill of up to 36 000 tonnes.
Lot 5: for the disposal in landfill of up to 35 500 tonnes.
Lot 6: for the disposal in landfill of up to 27 000 tonnes.
Lot 7: for the disposal in landfill of up to 24 750 tonnes.
Lot 8: for the disposal in landfill of up to 12 600 tonnes.
Lot 9: for the disposal in landfill of up to 19 500 tonnes.
Lot 10: for the disposal in landfill of up to 9 000 tonnes arc21 proposes to hold a separate competition and enter a separate contract for each lot. arc21 reserves the right to abandon the competition for any lot at any time. Please note that tenderers will be required to commit to providing guaranteed available capacity under each lot which will be less than the tonnages referred to above. Please refer to the tender documentation for further details. There is no guarantee that any agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc will be paid if a tender or resulting agreement is withdrawn and / or the procurement process stopped for any reason. Bidders should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.
