Clinical provision
The provider must provide appropriately qualified, skilled and experienced GPs to see and treat chronic shoulder problems, knee problems, and sports exercise related injuries. The provider must also triage all referrals identified by the Cardiff and Vale UHB clinical referral centre.
Administrative provision
The provider will be expected to provide all administrative aspects of the service including clinic management and secretarial services. Clinicians will need to have experience of appropriate IT systems.
Location
We will expect services to be delivered from existing Cardiff and Vale UHB premises at Cardiff Royal Infirmary and Barry Hospital.
Governance
The service provider will need to adhere to all Cardiff and Vale information and clinical governance guidelines in the management of patient information and treatment. The provider will also need to provide monthly activity reports based on key performance indicators.
Expressions of interest are welcomed from all suitably qualified GMC registered clinicians.
