Description
Mansfield Museum is seeking to appoint an Exhibition Designer for a new industrial gallery at the Museum. The services are being commissioned as part of a Heritage Lottery funded project to re-develop the arcade gallery at Mansfield Museum.
The centre piece of the project is the redevelopment of one of the Museum’s five galleries to house a permanent exhibition about the industrial legacy of Mansfield and the surrounding area. The physical objects will be complemented by oral and pictorial histories to give a rounded impression of the importance of these work-places to the economic and social welfare of the area for a comparatively long period in its history.
Bidders should please note that an open day will be held on 2nd July 2013 for them to inspect the site.
