Description of particular conditions: The selection of Contractors to be invited to tender for the Contracts will be based on information provided in response to a pre-qualification questionnaire which will be issued to all Contractors who express an interest in submitting a response to the pre-qualification exercise. Particular conditions related to working on or around a railway environment will be incorporated into the Forms of Contract.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: Selection of contractors to be invited to tender for the contract will be based on information provided in the response to the pre-qualification exercise. Applicants must have extensive experience of delivering railwaymultifunctional activity involving the design and construction of railway construction /electrification works and of working in an operational railway environment. As part of the pre-qualification process non “Link Up” qualified applicants will be asked to confirm, amongst other criteria, that they hold a Network Rail Principal Contractors licence.
