The Scottish Seabird Centre (SSC) is seeking to appoint an experienced exhibition design team to create an interpretative plan and to develop and implement design proposals. The appointment is intended for the duration of the project but comprises 2 main stages:
Development Stage: Design to RIBA Stage 3 and submission of the 2nd Round Application to HLF;
Delivery Phase: Project Implementation (RIBA Stage 4 to completion of the works on-site and the defects liability period).
The delivery phase will only go ahead if funding is successfully secured.
The organisation acting as Exhibition Design consultant should assemble and appoint a team of professional practitioners capable of providing all disciplines of the design service for the National Marine Centre at the Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick. The scope of services is set out in detail in attached additional documentation.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The SSC is seeking to appoint an experienced exhibition design team to create an interpretative plan and to develop and implement design proposals for the National Marine Centre project. The appointment is intended for the duration of the project but comprises 2 main stages:
Development Stage: Design to RIBA Stage 3 and submission of the 2nd Round Application to HLF;
Delivery Phase: Project Implementation (RIBA Stage 4 to completion of the works on site and the defects liability period).
A break clause is applicable and the delivery phase will only go ahead if funding is successfully secured. In this case it is anticipated that the same professional team will continue in place provided performance in the Development Stage has been satisfactory.
