The Contracting Authority “Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust” has assigned to EnergyQuote JHA the role of seeking and tendering for service providers for the provision of flexible gas products. Current services are in place and it is envisaged that new contracts will commence by 1st April 2013. The Contract Authority’s energy consists of 5 gas supply points at a registered annual volume of 55.9GWh.

The Contracting Authority wishes to enter a supply agreement with one UK Licenced Supplier who will be appointed for an initial period of 24 months. The supply contract will be a flexible gas product allowing the Contracting Authority to makes purchases across their portfolio with access to the wholesale market. The supplier must provide accurate and timely invoicing with excellent dedicated Account Management. The Contracting Authority reserves the option to extend the initial contract period; appoint more than one supplier; and cancel this Contract Notice.

This Authority will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the Contracting Authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have two working days from notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before expiry of the standstill period. Such additional information should be requested from the address in Section I.1.
