UK-Norfolk.
The needle exchange co-ordination service is intended for providers who are able to provide open access, low threshold services for adult injectors of non-prescribed drugs. This service must be provided in line with NICE guidance and emphasise harm minimisation.
The Supervised Consumption element of this service is for the provider to form agreements with pharmacies which are able to provide supervised consumption services for eligible drug users accessing prescribed replacement drug therapy as part of their agreed care plan.
This is a procurement for services specified in part B of schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (“Part B services”). Accordingly, the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) only apply in part. A procurement exercise will be conducted in accordance with the information contained in the procurement documents.
