Description of the goods or services requiredThis framework agreement covers the repair/refurbishment of existing network data point / power outlets and the design of, installation, contract management, supply and installation of additional / replacement network data points and associated power supply requirements in Highland Council premises including Schools, throughout the Highland Council Area. These works will require Refurbishment asbestos surveys to be carried out to target the cable routes and installation locations of any fixed equipment for a significant number of the confirmed properties. Additional InformationThe successful Contractor shall be required to ensure sufficient provision (both in value and resources) within the Tender for :- i)overall contract co-ordination and management including preparing any report, documentation or programme together with all necessary investigations, surveys, discussions and assessments, controlling and organising the progression of the works in conjunction with the CA, preparing detailed designs (including before and after photographic evidence of cabling routes), and related documentation for construction, maintenance, repair or installation in connection with the Works and support to all other members of the project team ii) the production of CDM Pre Construction Information through a programme of site surveys with the project team, specialist sub consultants (including asbestos surveyor, CDM-C(Principal Designer)) and full consultation with the local Maintenance Officer to determine the type and location of each unit to be fitted at each individual site/location.
