Description

The Network Support Services Framework will be a multi-supplier Framework Agreement and it is anticipated that three (3) Contractors shall be appointed to provide a fair and transparent Service to ORE Catapult. However, ORE Catapult reserves the right to appoint fewer or more than this number if deemed to be in its best interests, e.g. value for money, geographical location. ORE Catapult employs its own internal ICT team who oversee strategy, design & implementation and overall support of all ICT deployed throughout ORE Catapult UK sites.
ORE Catapult’s Headquarters is based in Glasgow; however, the majority of ICT services are run from their Blyth site with Glasgow essentially being an outreach building using local Active Directory services for authentication and file and print services. ORE Catapult’s ICT team require access to support providers when an issue goes beyond their expertise or a key member of staff is unavailable to provide support to a critical issue. Assistance may also be required in the design of bespoke solutions to upcoming projects that may be time critical or require more staff than is available to complete under the required timescales.
