The proposed works comprise the erection of a 154m2 single storey extension to the current Print and Design unit building at the Orchardbank Campus, Forfar. This extension will incorporate an ‘Eco Cooling installation, a back-up generator, an uninterruptible power supply, a building management system, a fire alarm installation linked to a gas suppression system, and other lighting and power services. Minor alteration works including the formation of a new fire exit corridor and store will be required to the existing Print and Design unit building.

External works consist of site clearance, a new footpaths, a new generator enclosure and base with associated security fencing and access gates, fuel storage tank base steel cradle supports and base for the new Eco Cooling units, external security lighting and retaining wall together with all associated services works.
