The Purpose of this Prior Information Notice is:
— To give advance notice and publicise the opportunity to preregister for a webinar event that will provide an overview of Northern Powergrid’s IT Transformation Programme.
The webinar will:
— give advance notice of Northern Powergrid’s intention to undertake a number of procurement events in respect of IT related Framework Agreements and Service Contracts.
— share information with the marketplace relating to the type of services that may be required, the expected time lines for procurement and Procedures that will be followed.
Northern Powergrid is undertaking an IT Transformation programme that is planned to run until March 2017. As part of this change programme, contracts will be tendered for a variety of IT requirements including but not limited to Infrastructure Support, Hardware Supply, Application Support, Application Development, Resource Body Shopping, IT Consultancy Services, IT Security Management, Managed Service Integration Services and Data Centre Colocation (Co-Lo) Services.

The webinar event will be held to provide the programme overview of the current scope and expected time lines on Thursday, 22nd October, at 14:00 GMT.

Any questions tabled during the webinar along with the responses given will also be made publicly available after the webinar.
Northern Powergrid reserves the right not to conclude a contract for some or all of the goods and services. Any supplier costs associated with attending the webinar are to be borne solely by the supplier.
Further details of the Procurement events will be provided in due course with pre-qualification for any and all tenders being conducted via Achilles UK UVDB. No other correspondence or meetings will be entered into in relation to the Procurement events prior to their launch.
