The number/split of beds per site is yet unknown and will be confirmed when the supplier is asked to submit a proposal under the framework agreement. For each identified site, a contract will be called-off the framework agreement through an order and a lease for each site will be entered into by the Council and the supplier.

Each site identified will be intended for full capacity to be utilised for Council Funded Service Users.

The lease entered in to for Site 1 will be at a Peppercorn Rent. The Council has set this rent to maximise the benefit in the commissioned weekly care bed price. Any lease entered in to for Sites 2 and 3 will have individual leases with potentially differing rent costs.

The supplier must have the ability to deliver a 100 % Nursing Model at each Site, plus the ability to support, in exceptional circumstances, individuals with residential only needs. The supplier will ensure that both general nursing placements and dementia nursing placements are provided at all of the sites.
