1)Short description

The Council requires Occupational Health services to be provided on a Tariff basis only with the addition of a nominal administration fee per employee irrespective of the number of referrals per employee.
The services to be provided to Lincolnshire County Council and all Schools are to be open for access to all of Procurement Lincolnshire partner authorities which include: City of Lincoln Council, Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council, South Kesteven District Council, North Kesteven District Council, West Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council, Compass Point Business Services, Breckland District Council and Lincolnshire Probation Trust. For the avoidance of doubt, should any of Procurement Lincolnshire’s partner authorities wish to access the services of this contract, they shall be required to enter into a separate contract with the successful Supplier.
The services will cover all LCC employees, prospective employees and authorised volunteers and Schools employees. It does however need to be flexible enough to meet the requirements of the other partner authorities and the Probation Trust who have expressed an interest in using the contract. As part of their Tender submissions, Suppliers will be expected to demonstrate their ability to work with all of the above groups, referring to previous experience where relevant.
The intention is the winning Supplier in respect of each Lot will commence transition of the services from the current provider from 7.1.2013 with a view to having a phased transition period. This may involve the gradual take up of new cases towards the latter part of the transition period. This transition period will be undertaken at the Supplier’s own costs. Further details will be required from the Supplier on their proposed transition plan which will be evaluated as part of the formal quality assessment of the tenders submitted.
Full service commencement date will be 1.4.2013. The duration of the contract is 2 years with a possible extension of a maximum period of 12 months.

Fire and Rescue Services form part of Lincolnshire County Council, they are not an independent Fire Authority, therefore the contract will be with Lincolnshire County Council.
