Description of the goods or services required

Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified suppliers interested in participating in a tender to appoint a Project Team to procure the fit out of new office premises.

SEPA will be moving approximately 250 staff to new office premises on Castle Business Park, Stirling in Q3/Q4 2014.

The offices are currently partly occupied. The existing tenants will be moving out in the next few months and the Landlord will subsequently be carrying out strip out and reinstatement works.

It is currently envisaged that the fit out works for SEPA will be completed in 2 phases of approximately 8 weeks duration each, with the first phase commencing in currently vacant areas and the second phase commencing following completion of the Landlords strip out works.

The fit out works will comprise mainly open plan office spaces with ancillary meeting rooms, break out spaces and touchdown areas. There will be a need to extend the existing toilet core and to provide additional showers. Part of the existing fit out is to be retained and the design development will require to take account of this.

Initial space planning and fit out proposals are currently being developed on behalf of SEPA to RIBA Stage C, and the appointed Project Team will be required to develop these proposals to circa Stage D, to produce the fit out works Tender Documentation and to procure and manage the fit out on behalf of SEPA through to end of the defects period.

The fit out is to be carried out on a Design and Build basis with a view to commencing works on site in July 2014. Value of the intented works will be circa £500k
