The existing contract for a corporate office furniture supplier is coming to an end. While there are no immediate plans for any large scale projects which will require furniture, this may change over the course of the next few years, so annual spend will be variable. The Customer is looking for a supplier who would be able to match the aesthetic look of the furniture in the Council House, Local Studies Library and Derby Arena; supply both small scale and large furniture orders and installations, including to additional sites within Derby City; and supply or appoint/recommend and work with specialist furniture suppliers for ad hoc or 1-off orders, for example: specialist chairs that meet the requirements of an employee with reasonable adjustments, storage solutions for specialist items — this could be maps, books, magazines, sports equipment, health/medical equipment, IT and so on.
It is imperative the supplier must be able to meet and comply with the funding framework required by European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) agreements. The supply of furniture to some sites may be purchased with funds from these.
