The project scope includes the following:
1) Extension(s) to the car park including associated external works and landscaping.
2) Infilling of the central courtyard to create a central atrium to be used as a Deli and informal meeting facility.
3) Fitting out of a 690 m² building extension.
4) Internal refurbishment and modernization of the existing building, circa 4000m2. It is intended that a contract for the supply and installation of electrics, lighting, heating, plumbing, wall, ceiling and floor finishes, partitioning and fixed equipment in office and food and beverage areas.
5) Provision of as built and asset records in accordance with Company Procedures and Codes of Practice.
6) Maintenance of the Works for a period of 12 months following practical completion.
Main works:
It is anticipated that the works will commence in Autumn of 2013 and finish in early spring 2015.
It is intended that the main works will be procured through an amended JCT Design and Build contract using a competitive tender.
It is anticipated that the architectural, structural engineering, mechanical & electrical engineering services would be novated to the successful contractor.
The loose furniture will not be part of this contract and will be tendered separately. It is intended that loose furniture will be purchased directly by Bristol Water and free issued to the successful contractor.
