ONLINE BACKUP SERVICE TO SCHOOLS
Introduction
There is a requirement for 62 Schools to have access to a centralised backup process over the internet, backing up SIMS, FMS (where applicable) & standard office documents. The service must be a Capita approved backup service.
Service Specification
The Schools MIS SIMS SQL Database must be able to be backed up Online, this Process is done by using CAPITA’s Dbattach protocol to ensure database SQL usernames and Passwords are not lost and data is correctly detached/ attached on the SQL Platform.
