Cardiff and Vale University Health Local Board (LHB) currently outsource all of it’s Open Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scans. Open MRI scans are performed on patients who are unable to be scanned in a closed (tunnel) MRI scanner for medical reasons such as obesity and Claustrophobia. The LHB is looking to appoint a suitable contractor to establish a 3 year contract with an option to extend for a further 2 years in 12 month intervals (at the discretion of the Health Board). The approximate number of patients requiring these scans is 175 per annum.

The Contracting Authority will not accept completed PQQ’s after the stated closing date.
