The Living Centre is a purpose-built, 450 sqm, two-storey space and will be a lasting, sustainable resource for local people, especially those who are experiencing deprivation, exclusion or isolation. It will deliver services that seek to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents by addressing issues and inequalities present locally.
The Crick is looking to procure one Operator for the whole Living Centre, under contract with the Crick. The project has great potential and the Crick is eager to appoint an Operator with an entrepreneurial attitude and a great track record in a similar setting, who will cultivate a sustainable organisation, with any surplus reinvested. The Crick will make an annual revenue contribution of up to 180 000 GBP plus inflation for a period of 20 years to contribute towards the operating, maintenance, running and salary costs. This financial commitment will remain in place for the duration of the contract but the Crick wants the Living Centre to thrive independently.
The Crick expects the set-up of the Living Centre to start in early 2016, with launch and opening to the public by summer 2016.
Those suppliers who would like to express an interest in tendering for this opportunity are asked to complete and return a Non-Disclosure Agreement. To register your interest and to request a Non-Disclosure Agreement, please contact tenders@crick.ac.uk.
