Help Desk Support is required for the Council’s existing Oracle Financials E-Business Suite. Additionally there is a requirement to provide an upgrade service for Oracle Financials E-Business Suite to the latest version of Release 12.
Aberdeenshire Council have 570 users of the Oracle Financials E-Business Suite and operate a range of Finance; Accounting and Procurement modules.
Help Desk Support is required for functional and technical issues relating to the e-business suite including customisation development as well as advice and assistance when required. The help desk provider will also be responsible for raising and managing calls with Oracle Support, including the application of patches when appropriate.
Database management, operating system maintenance, back ups, system administration tasks and patch testing are outwith the scope of this procurement.
Aberdeenshire Council also require to upgrade to the latest version of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) before Oracle support expires for current version 11.5.10.2 from November 2013. An implementation service to plan and perform this upgrade (and potentially any future upgrades) will be required as part of this tender.
