The contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years (on a 1+1 basis) based on acceptable performance. The contract will be JCT MTC 2016 with amendments.

Contract value is estimated to be up to 2.5m GBP pa.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The works required comprise undertaking asbestos removal and remedial works throughout all Orbit’s Southern portfolio (see maps), although there is a potential further opportunity in the East and subject to performance this contract must allow for contingency supply in all of Orbit’s properties nationally, including the Midlands and the East of England. The Provider is required to provide small and large scale planned, reactive and emergency asbestos removal (24 hours a day) and remedial works. Disposal of any asbestos or suspected asbestos containing material that has been removed will be required.
