Out of Hours Reactive Repairs Service

Description of the goods or services required

The successful Candidate will be responsible for the provision of an Out-of-hours Emergency Repairs Service covering: A reactive repairs service to all Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association Ltd`s listed properties, with the exception of repair types listed in the the tender documents. Repairs to be attended to within the Association’s target time of 6 hours, outwith WSHA`s office working hours i.e. Monday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. each day, and Friday to Monday from 5 p.m. on Friday to 9 a.m. on Monday morning, and on all Public Holiday dates set by WSHA and its Festive Closure; throughout the Association’s stock base. The appointed contractor will also be responsible for carrying out any follow up work within the Association’s urgent or routine target times of 3 and 10 working days respectively. The stock base consists of approximately 1300 WSHA owned properties within factored closes comprising: 3,4,5 and 6 storey traditional and modern tenemental properties; 2 storey houses; and one multi storey block.

Total quantity or scope of tender

As a reactive maintenance service, values will differ from year to year. From April 2011 to March 2012, the emergency call out work (excluding any follow up) was worth approximately £31,000.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Candidate contractors will also be expected to meet the criteria and provide the information outlined on the attached Tender Qualification Questionnaire, and Tender and Contract Document. The TQQ is to be in secure package, separate from the Tender and Contract document, anonymously labelled “Tender Quality Questionnaire- Do Not open- Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association: Out of Hours Emergency Repairs Service Contract 2012-2015”. One loose bound paper copy of the completed questionnaire and one copy on CD is to be submitted. Separately one completed and signed (paper) copy of the priced Tender and Contract Document is to be returned to Whiteinch & Scotstoun HA Ltd. securely packaged and anonymously labelled “Priced Tender Document- Do Not open-Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association: Out of Hours Repairs Contract 2012-2015”.
