Outbound mail service South Derbyshire District Council are looking to procure a service to print and mail transactional billing corporate documents, incorporating a hybrid mail service. Hybrid mail is mail that is delivered using a combination of electronic and physical delivery. Usually, it involves digital data being transferred into physical letter items at distributed print centers located as close as possible to the final delivery address. Tenders and all supporting documentation for the contract must be priced in sterling and written in English. Any agreement entered into will be considered a contract made in England according to English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. South Derbyshire District Council is not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in and/or tendering for this contract opportunity. South Derbyshire District Council reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time (or part of it) to change the basis of and the procedures for the procurement process at any time or to procure the subject matter of the contract by alternative means if it appears it can be more advantageously procured by alternative means. The most economically advantageously or any tender will not automatically be accepted. The range stated in II.1.5 of this notice is indicative only and the final value of the contract will depend on the final tenders received by South Derbyshire District Council and the tender submitted by the successful tenderer. South Derbyshire District Council therefore reserves the right to award a contract for more or less than the ranges indicated in section II.1.5 of this notice. The range in II.1.5 includes the cost of the option to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years.
