The Framework Contract will be broken down into 15 categories, each requirement will be assigned to a category and mini tendered.
Suppliers maybe allocated to more than one category, thereby reducing the overall total number of suppliers.
The vast majority of purchase orders raised under this framework will be for less than 1,000 GBP + VAT, with a few of a maximum value of 50,000 GBP + VAT.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: This authority will incorporate a 10 day calendar day standstill period, at the point information on the award of the contract is communication to tenderers. This period will allow unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority, before the contract is entered into. Applicants will have two working days from the notification of the award decision, to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided, a minimum of three working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such additional information should be requested from the address in Section 1.1. If an appeal regarding the award of an contract has not been resolved successfully, the (for Public Sector) Public Contracts Reqgulations 2006 (SI 2006 5) (for Ultilities) Ultilities Contracts Requlations (SI 2005 6) (delete where appropiate) provide for the aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules, to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within three months). Where a contract has been entered into the court may order the settling aside of the award decision, or order the authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has been enterred into the court may only award damages.
