Summary:

St Helens CCG and St Helens Local Authority are jointly going out to procurement for a speech, language and communication service to enhance the existing service and improve the service model. The new system will be characterised by a whole system approach offering a tiered level of provision: universal, targeted and specialist support. The service will be a single point of contact providing information and support to parents and professionals. Children will be screened as to the level of intervention required and care can be stepped up or down as appropriate.
