— In addition to core back office functionality it will need to provide mobile technology for parking enforcement officers,
— Support for automatic number plate recognition (ANR),
— Core functionality to potentially support clean city requirements,
— Abandoned vehicle handling,
— Integration with in house systems.
It is anticipated that the contract will be implemented by 3.12.2012 and will run for three years with an option to extend by up to a further four years to a maximum term of 7 years.

Proposed solutions should ideally fit with the Council’s existing infrastructure. If there is a need for the Council to amend its infrastructure then any such cost will be estimated and added to the overall cost of the tender for comparison against other submissions.
