The Parliamentary Archives wishes to develop and enhance its capabilities for managing its digital and physical collections, and providing online and onsite services to users, including members of the public, staff and members of both Houses. The planned enhancements include:
— Providing an enhanced online presence and substantially expanded online services to support existing users and encourage new users, and to improve experience for all users;
— Implementing an asset tracking system and improved location management to facilitate future collection moves, as well as ongoing public service operations;
— Providing support for more efficient and effective front and back office procedures;
— Providing improved management information to help inform collections management decisions and service development.
