Places for People are seeking to appoint a service provider to undertake portable appliance testing that consistently meet the standards required. This is a tender to appoint three national service provider to visit all schemes with a communal portable appliances and carry out the works. This tender is on behalf of Places for People’s Group who provides property services to regulated stock in England and Scotland.

Places for People Group Ltd is 1 of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK. Places for People are seeking to appoint a service provider to undertake portable appliance testing that consistently meet the standards required. This is a tender to appoint three national service provider to visit all schemes with a communal portable appliances and carry out the works. This tender is on behalf of Places for People’s Group who provide property services to regulated stock in England and Scotland. There are approximately 1 241 sites and 400 mobile vans that have a portable appliances and the opportunity is to provide an annual portable appliance testing service across all these sites and our fleet vans. The full service required includes the portable appliance testing. A certificate detailing that the sites have been tested and what appliances have passed and failed along with a report building an asset list for us during the first so we know exactly how many portable appliances assets we have at the sites.
