The University of Ulster (hereby referred to as the University) wish to appoint one or more companies to provide Intellectual Property Services. The appointment will be by a process of competitive tender.
The duration of the contract will be for 3 years initially, commencing on January 2013, with the possibility of extending by 1 year + 1 year. A formal contract review will take place at the end of the initial 3 year period and every year thereafter.
This contract will be awarded on the basis of six (6) discrete lots; namely.
Lot 1. Biomedical, Health & Environmental Sciences / Pharmacy.
Lot 2. Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering / Composites.
Lot 3. Nanotechnology Engineering.
Lot 4. Computer & Information Engineering, Robotics & Intelligent Systems.
Lot 5. Architecture, Built Environment & Civil Engineering.
Lot 6. Creative Arts / Design / Digital Media.

The University of Ulster (hereby referred to as the University) wish to appoint one or more companies to provide Intellectual Property Services. The appointment will be by a process of competitive tender.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The University will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
