II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The Council has a requirement for the scoping, design, delivery and management of an appropriate Peer Mentoring service, which is to be aligned to and support the wider delivery of the Generation NE Programme; to ensure that all aspects of the service adhere to current safeguarding and best practice in the delivery of Peer Mentoring approaches; the recruitment, training, hosting and on-going day to day management of a team of Peer Mentors comprising of paid mentors and volunteer mentors.
The contract is for 24 months, with 2 potential 12 Month extensions of Peer Mentoring support.
There is a possibility of expansion of activity subject to the performance of the contract and successful applications for European Social Funding Match Funding, 245 000 GBP is the core offer with an additional up to 600 000 GBP being a potential depending on securing relevant funding.
