Description of the contract

Worcester City Council seeks to appoint a contractor to Supply, install and maintain a Penalty Charge Notice processing and reconciliation system for dealing with parking contraventions under the Terms and Conditions of Part 6/7 The Traffic Management Act 2004 [ De-Criminalised Parking Enforcement ], in the City of Worcester. The approved contractor will have a proven record of delivering, installing and maintaining / supporting similar systems in other local authorities in England and Wales. The approved contractor will supply all software and associated hardware, together with all necessary training and on-going support and maintenance to run the selected system 365 days of the year, and be able to process in excess of 30,000 Penalty Charge Notices per annum. The approved system will generate and process Penalty Charge Notices, [PCNs] residents permits [both paper and virtual] One and Seven Day Parking Dispensations, [both paper and virtual] and season parking permits within Worcester City Council approved car parks.
