Description of the contract

Ordnance Survey wishes to undertake a quarterly schedule of penetration testing of its externally facing sites. Penetration testing should cover an array of real threats which should be designed to identify all areas of vulnerability, without interrupting our business. Testing must be delivered by experienced staff using up-to-date techniques, technologies and information sources as used by genuine hackers. Test results must be delivered with clear recommendations to mitigate the identified risks and improve our security measures on a risk based approach. Testing should begin as soon as possible after award of contract and then at three monthly intervals. The output from each round of penetration testing will be a report which must be submitted to Ordnance Survey’s IT Security Officer within one month of completion of testing. Please provide a proposal, on nor more than one side of A4, completed in text point size not below 10 in the English (UK) language, to include details of experience, an outline of how you would deliver the requirements and charges (daily rate and state if inclusive of any expenses).
