It is designed to be place where everyone can not only discover and learn about Wales but also contribute their story alongside stories and content provided by other people and organisations. PCW is a valuable resource in collecting, interpreting and discussing Wales’s cultural heritage in an online environment.

The website is supported by a programme of activities to explore new and exciting ways of collecting, exploring, discovering and sharing the stories of Wales and its people.

PCW is key element in the Welsh Government’s Programme for Government 2011-2016. The website supports key agendas such as digital inclusion, lifelong learning, and cultural tourism.
