Dartford Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest for its “Pest Control Services” contract.

The contract is to commence on 3rd September 2014 and run until 2nd September 2017.

The service is available to all domestic premises within the boundaries of Dartford Borough Council. The service is provided in respect of rats, mice and wasps. Residents wishing to access the service contact the Council’s Contact Centre where details of the pests to be treated are recorded and an appointment date (but not a fixed time) is made when the operative will call.

All users of the service are required to arrange payment, where appropriate, at the time of booking the appointment.

Further and more detailed information will be contained in the Invitation to Quote (ITQ) documentation, which will be issued to all companies that express an interest.  ITQs will be sent electronically using Dartford Borough Council’s e-tendering system (ProContract).

The notification that the ITQ is available for download will be sent by email. The email will contain a link which must be followed. The link will require you to login to ProContract. The username and password are the same as the one used for expressing interests in opportunities on the South East Business Portal (SEBP).

Use of the system is completely free of charge and enables you to both receive and submit the ITQ electronically.
