II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The A2Dominion Group is a group of registered providers and manages over 34 000 homes across London, central and Southern England with thousands more in development. It offers a wide range of housing options, including affordable rented, temporary, student, care and support accommodation and services, key worker accommodation, and market rent as well as homes for sale and shared ownership through its A2Dominion New Homes brand. A2D Homes Limited and A2D South Limited are the main asset holding subsidiaries of A2Domion Group Limited. A2D Housing Options Limited and Kingsbridge Residential Limited also own some of A2D’s properties.
A2D Homes Limited, A2D South Limited, A2D Housing Options Limited, Kingsbridge Residential Limited and A2Dominion Group Limited and any future group members (the Contracting Authorities) seek expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified Contractors to undertake and deliver their programme of planned works to approximately 2 250 properties within London and the South of England. The programme of works has been divided into two (2) geographical areas: the South-East and London.
Economic operators may express an interest in one or both lots and they should indicate which lot or lots they are expressing an Interest in the PQQ. It is envisaged that 10 (ten) contractors will be invited to tender per lot and it is envisaged that 5 (five) contractors will be appointed to each framework agreement. The works which will be called off by the Contracting Authorities will be subject to mini competitions.

The A2Dominion Group wish to appoint Contractors to two (2) framework agreements to deliver their programme of planned works to approximately 2 250 properties over the 4 year duration of the frameworks. The overall annual estimated value of the 2 lots is envisaged to be between 9 000 000,00 GBP and 13 000 000,00 GBP. Economic operators shall be aware that acceptance onto a framework agreement is not a guarantee of any work under that framework agreement. Call off contracts may last beyond the term of a framework agreement.

The works and services for both regional areas will predominately be for planned works. The programme of works has been divided into two (2) geographical areas: this lot applies to the South-East. The works can include, but are not restricted to; window replacement works, flat and pitched roof repair/replacement works, external pointing and brickwork/concrete/render repair works, repairs to/renewal of fencing, repairs to/renewal of guttering/rainwater goods, replacement of fascia’s/soffits and barge boards, repairs to/renewal of communal flooring, landscaping and tarmac repairs, kitchen replacement works, bathroom replacement works, electrical rewires to properties, boiler replacement works, heating upgrades, repair/replacement of landlords electrics (including laterals and risers), the installation of door entry systems and asbestos removal works.
