Reference to the relevant law, regulation or administrative provision: This contract is for the provision of a service provider to carry out all statutory engineering inspections on equipment e.g lifts, patient / non patient lifting equipment. pressure vessels and systems. Service providers must be certified to BS EN ISO 9002 or accredited to BS EN 45004 or equivalent. Suitably qualified competent persons will undertake the inspection and testing of engineering plant and equipment in accordance with The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
