This contract will be to deliver PR activities and a programme of flagship events which complements the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub activities.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The Council wish to procure a Service Provider or consortium of Service Providers for the delivery of:
— PR activity;
— A flagship events programme.
The activities delivered under this contract will support the promotion of both the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub generally and the Growth Lincolnshire business support and grants offer.
Through this contract the Council wish to deliver a clear, targeted and intelligence led communications plan which delivers clear messages to all interested parties.
The overall aims of the activities are to:
— Raise awareness of the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub as a whole;
— Raise awareness of the Growth Lincolnshire support;
— Encourage eligible businesses to participate;
— Keep stakeholders informed of activities, opportunities and progress;
— Promote success stories.
PR Services expected to be provided includes, but is not restricted to, the following:
— Creation and management of the comms. plan;
— Delivery of all comms. messages to all target groups by the most appropriate means;
— Copy writing services — for press releases, the businesslincolnshire.com website, marketing materials, adverts, blogs, etc.
— Case study development using written word, pictures and film;
— Management and coordination of social media activity;
— Networking at appropriate events;
— Being the key contact for media enquiries.
Delivery of the large flagship events for the programme, i.e. those events / conferences with a large audience (80+ attendees) will incorporate provision of comprehensive events management services including, but not restricted, to the following:
— Venue identification and booking;
— Technology identification and booking;
— Attendee identification and invitation management utilising the Business Lincolnshire Eventbrite account;
— Event communications including content for event materials;
— Creation of delegate packs, name badges/lanyards, etc.;
— Sourcing of and arrangements for guest speakers including arrangement of accommodation;
— Provision of appropriate refreshments / hospitality (alcohol cannot be purchased with ERDF funds);
— Event registration and facilitation services at the event;
— Effective Event Evaluation and Follow-up;
— Updating of County Council CRM system — Engage — with event attendees.

The Contract will be let for an initial period of 3 years intended to commence on Monday, 15.8.2016 with the option to extend for 2 further periods of up to 3 years up to a maximum contract period of 9 years, dependent on performance and further funding.
