The Women Adding Value to the Economy (WAVE) project is a partnership of the University of South Wales, The Women’s Workshop and Cardiff University who have come together to provide an innovative equal pay project. The project is part funded by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.

The aim of the project as a whole is to address the persistent reproduction of gender pay gaps. Actions include research, re-valuing women’s current contribution to the economy, and through training, encourage women’s movement into gender atypical work or working patterns, so that they might realise better pay and working conditions.
