Description of the contract

The Centre requires the service of organisations (the “Organisation”) to provide specialist print services.

On the basis of the tender proposal, one or more Organisations will be added to the Centre’s Framework Agreement for Print Services (the “Service”).

The Service focuses on the printing of publications and materials that the Centre produces in order to communicate its key messages. The Centre will produce a range of bilingual, full colour publications during the year including a calendar, guide to services, events brochure and information leaflets. The Centre also required a range of stationery such as headed paper, compliments slips and business cards. Where possible the Centre uses recycled materials and aims to minimise the environmental impact of its printed materials.

The Centre will be looking for printers able to supply low volume digital print and/or large volume litho print.

Organisations tendering for this work would be expected to provide evidence of an effective Environmental Management System such as ISO 14001.

Further details about the role of the Centre can be found on www.walescooperative.org.
