Time is of the essence for this project and the College have a window of opportunity commencing the 20.8.2015 in which access to the workshops would be available for the commencement of the installations. The appointed supplier will have the capability and capacity to liaise with potentially multiply manufacturers/reseller in order to collate the necessary equipment and then work with the College to co-ordinate the delivery and installation of the equipment into the workshops. The College accepts that some items of equipment have lead time for delivery and this will need to be highlighted in the tender response, so that the College can clearly ascertain the timeframe in which items of equipment will be received/installed. The ideal scenario will be the delivery of all equipment on the 20th August, however the College is aware this might not be possible for all of the equipment. This is a one off project for the supply and installation of equipment. Where specialist maintenance is required post installation details of such services need to be included in the tender documentation.
