Wandsworth Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent suppliers for the provision of professional design consultancy services for the expansion of two of the borough’s primary schools.
The contract is split into two lots:
Lot one – Albemarle Primary School
Lot two – Sheringdale Primary School.
The successful supplier(s) will be required to provide all of the consultant services necessary to complete the project(s). This will include as a minimum the following:
— Architecture/Surveying;
— Mechanical Engineering;
— Electrical Engineering (including IT infrastructure);
— Structural Engineering;
— Quantity Surveying;
— Acoustics Engineering;
— BREEAM Assessor;
— CDM Co-ordinator Services.
The estimated value of lot one is GBP 217 000 and the estimated value of lot two is GBP 245 000. Fee tenders will be invited from shortlisted suppliers in July 2013 and the final tender report needs to be completed by June 2014.

Suppliers are advised that references will be obtained in writing from three referees. It is the supplier’s responsibility to ensure that their referees respond within the time scale.
It is intended to restrict the tender list to a maximum of 5 suppliers, plus the council’s in-house Design Service. If more than 5 suppliers fulfil the criteria for selection, those scoring the highest number of points on the selection criteria will be invited to tender.
