1)Short description

The Council is seeking training providers to: — Develop bespoke modules relevant to the Council’s core services — Deliver Driver CPC periodic training for approximately 300 Drivers and 20 PCV Drivers — Deliver training on a week day (Monday — Friday) during normal working hours (between 08:30 and 17:30) — Deliver training at our own sites across the Authority and also be able to offer solutions for off-site training within Hull or the East Riding of Yorkshire as required. Please note that for LOT 1, the training provider must: (a) be a JAUPT approved training centre, for both passenger transport and freight transport, and (b) have a minimum of 5 x 7 hour (or) 10 x 3½ hour JAUPT approved training courses, and (c) be responsible for submitting details of the completed training to JAUPT.

The Council is seeking training providers to: — deliver driving assessments across all licence categories for new starters – deliver approximately 150 hours of driver training to support the Council’s aim to improve driver behaviour and performance — deliver licence acquisition training for approximately 30 new drivers the following licence categories (approx. 600 hours in total): – Car (inclusive of trailer) Categories B, B+E — LGV (inclusive of trailer) Categories C, C1, C+E, C1+E (main training volume) — PCV, Category D Please note that for LOT 2, the training provider must: (a) be a DSA approved training centre, and (b) have the ability to deliver driver training at a location within Hull or the East Riding of Yorkshire.
