Description of the contract

Background Our client is currently recruiting for an office coordinator for a 6 month contract in London. The ideal candidate will be able to use and recommend project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects. Set up and provide guidance on procedures, processes, tools and techniques. Support programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. You may also be involved in some aspects of supporting a programme by providing a cross programme view on risk, change, quality, finance or configuration management. This role is paying £200 Ltd per day. Main Duties/ Responsibilities • Provide guidance on project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques. • Provide basic advice and guidance on individual project proposals and plans. • Produce planned and updated project and summary reports, including cost breakdowns and summaries. • Produce updated reporting templates and guidance that meet requirements and corporate standards as necessary. • Produce a Dashboard each month showing performance of projects and develop this if changing requirements necessitate. • Measure, track and report on targets detailed in the PPD business plan and, where necessary, develop effective mechanisms to do so. • Co-ordinate the monthly cycle of activities in Management Information, Reporting and Delivery Assurance. • Maintain programme and project files. Service project control boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings. • Provide expert support on the use of MS Project software for Project Managers and support training and coaching events in the use of MS Project. • Take a cross programme view of some aspects of the project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques. Skills/ Experience Required ESSENTIAL • Has experience with some exposure to IT project developments and has received training in IT project development methodology and terminology. • Excellent Excel and MS Project skills • Good interpersonal skills to enable liaison with with a wide range of stakeholders up to, and including, Director. Formal Qualifications Required Essential: None Desirable: MS Project Excellent Excel Skills Project methodologies and terminologies
