The services being procured in this exercise are for the appointment of A Project Management Service with the relevant skills, to Project Manage the University of Northamptons complex Waterside Development project.
This will include working with the University to identify the Universitys objectives and requirements in relation to the Project at, Pre construction, design stage, construction and post construction phases, this includes but is not restricted to the following (a full specification of the required service will be issued to applicants invited to participate in the ITT).
To make recommendations to the University for the Appointment of any Consultants or specialists necessary for the proper design and construction of the Project.
To provide advice as requested (in consultation with the Universitys solicitors) as to appropriate terms of engagement for each of the Consultants.
Throughout the Appointment period to consult with other Consultants in relation to the design and execution of the Project and their respective duties in relation thereto.
To ensure (so far as can reasonably be expected) that those Consultants comply with their obligations under their conditions of engagement.
Provide budgetary, cost control and programme advice throughout the construction period including periodic cost reports and assessments of anticipated final cost
Review and comment on programmes, drawings, specifications and details prepared by the Contractor and review proposals for changes insofar as they will affect the cost of the Development and advise the University concerning such proposals.
Examine and agree with the University the Final Account prepared by the Contractor.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Contracting Authority will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
