Clyde Gateway are seeking to appoint Joint Property Agents to provide Development Advice, Property Marketing and Agency Services in connection with development plots / land at Rutherglen Links Business Park.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The Agents will be expected to:

– Provide options, agree and implement a suitable marketing strategy for the disposal of the development plots either on a leasehold or heritable basis taking into account the potential disposal options outlined below :-

 

* Secure a JV partner for entire site to build out units and CG share in long term investment value

* Market entire site for sale

* Market sites for sale on individual plot basis or combining number of plots

* Identify JV partner for part of site (lower platform) to develop hybrid and dispose of upper platforms for owner occupation

 

– Provide initial development / agency advice, preparation of particulars, dealing with all enquiries, viewings, setting an appropriate closing date (if required), producing enquiry schedules and specific targeting of occupiers with known requirements / lease expiries / lease breaks.

– Negotiate on behalf of Clyde Gateway on the price and terms available.

– Work alongside Joint Agents (DTZ and GVA) who have now been appointed separately on the “ONE Rutherglen Links” Office Development.

– Work closely with senior Clyde Gateway staff on this project. We require demonstration of such collaborative work in the past with previous clients.

Minimum standards and qualification required

Minimum standards and qualification required

The appointed consultancy will demonstrate the following:

– A first class track record of successful development, property marketing & agency advice across key markets in central Scotland & UK;

– Examples of work of a similar scale and size undertaken for other commercial property clients in similar locations;

– Understanding of the work of regeneration agencies;

– A track record in working with other economic development / inward investment agencies such as SDI, SE and Local Authorities;

– The ability to work closely with Clyde Gateway staff on this project. We require demonstration of such collaborative work in the past with previous clients.
