Communications equipment. Repair and maintenance services of warships. The Communications and Situational Awareness (CSA) section, within the Maritime Combat Systems Team, has a requirement for In-Service Support (ISS) of primary Internal Communications and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) equipment fitted to in-service Royal Navy platforms and the future QEC platforms. It is the intention to award an ISS contract to a single supplier (prime contractor).

Enabling Arrangement for the Internal Communications and CCTV equipment, which comprises of the following:
1. Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) — current supplier Total Integrated Solutions Ltd (TIS);
2. Private Automated Branch Exchange (PABX) — current supplier TIS;
3. Flight Deck Communication — current supplier TIS;
4. Infrared (IR) Communications — current supplier TIS;
5. Rationalised Internal Communications Equipment (RICE) 1 & 2 — current supplier (TIS);
6. Main Broadcast — current supplier (TIS);
7. Visual Surveillance Systems (VSS) — current supplier BAE Systems Ltd.
The contractor shall be required to provide the following services:
o Post Design Services, including but not limited to:
— Configuration Management
— Engineering
— Logistic Support Analysis
— Maintenance Planning
— Obsolescence Management
— Performance Management

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 39(1) of Directive 2009/81/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations (DSPCR) 2011 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 39(2) of Directive 2009/81/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (see also Regulation 23(2) in the DSPCR 2011) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
