1)Short description
County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust require a provider to supply GP Services to Richardson Community Hospital Victoria Road, Barnard Castle DL12 8HT. The awarded provider will be required to supply a range of GP Services including but not limited to providing cover from 8:00 — 20:00, 7 days a week. The cover will include one ward round every day and the GP will be on-call during the contracted hours if urgent/emergency care or advice is required. The provider will be required to work with wide range of multi-disciplinary teams and must review prescribed medication and treatment in the patients’ health care records and undertake all appropriate admission documentation. The contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months.
